Muscle In a Month - Why?


Always up for a challenge, when Dax Moy asked for guinea pigs for his exclusive 'Muscle in a Month' programme I decided to sign up, along with a select bunch of crazy people...

Crazy, why?

Well, this is some serious training to gain serious muscle - and I don't want to end up looking like Atilla the Hun!

28 days of STRICT Elimination Diet plus DAILY 60 minute intense weight training workouts. Not a single day off - not one. So this takes you into the realm of overtraining - but with a purpose.

It's going to be hard, but that's what a challenge is all about, right?

We have to post photos and measurements daily too - that in itself will be a challenge! Going to get some pics done now and get the tape measure out!

My goal (may take more than a month but we shall see) is to look like Hilary Shakan - the pic above. I think she looks great in the beach photoshoot on her site and I decided she was my target body shape a while ago. Lean but strong, ripped but feminine.

It will mean I have to be very careful with calories - the Elimination Diet itself along with the training could result in mass gain, you have to ensure you are not eating too many cals if you want to lean down rather than bulking up. The aim is to be the same weight (ish) but a much lower bodyfat...
